This project is a collaboration between the AIN (Applied Improvisation Network) and BRACED (Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters), which is a consortium of organizations working on Climate Change and Resilience, including the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCCC).
Details:
BRACED has a core staff related to their learning processes and AIN has a steering committee of 8 people working on the project. There are 3 goals in this effort:
- Provide consultation regarding design and facilitation strategies to partners providing training and education at conferences and to local communities to increase innovation and interactivity in educational processes.
- Look at improvisational techniques, methods and principles as strategies for resilience.
- AIN provides on site consultation and facilitation/co-facilitation. So far, this partnership has happened with events at the Climate Change Conference in Paris (December 2015) and BRACED’s annual learning event in Dakar, Senegal
